studio life
studio life
I have been in my studio facing the century-old cedar trees for almost thirty years.
Nothing is the same. Everything is possible.
It is a gift to have such a space. I am aware of this.
I find myself searching for the underlying connections between things.
The unfathomable resonance that lies within. It takes time for this to manifest.
To bring it to the outer layer.
As with plants, there is a process and timing needed to bloom.
I am interested in the repetition within change and the change within repetition.
The transformations and traces that evolve.
I am interested in the endless variables.
It is a massive thing to be alive, to look in, look out, and explore being in the world.
And this too has endless perspectives.
